SASPG can design and supply a cold-box based on specified gas production requirements; irrespective of the customer planning to build his own ASU or revamp an existing ASU. We have enhanced the capability to make oversized cold-boxes, each of which can be loaded as “a single piece” onto a barge at the Hangzhou manufacturing location. Delivery of cold-box as a single piece allows quicker installation at site.
At the Chengdu manufacturing facility, SASPG makes cold-boxes for very large plants. The cold-box is made in segments that include the outer shell, upper column, lower column + main condenser, argon columns, and boxes for heat exchangers and expanders. They are transported readily and can be assembled at site under SASPG supervision.
A 3-D visualization of a SASPG cold-box is illustrated in the accompanying diagram. The material of construction for the various rectification columns and heat exchangers is aluminum alloy rated for cryogenic application.
